Pdt Trump Evacuated , Press conference Interrupted As Shootings Erupt At White House

"Secret Service guards shot a person, who was apparently armed, outside the White House." President Donald Trump disclosed this on Monday just after being briefly evacuated in the middle of a press conference.

The president was abruptly  taken out of the press event and black-clad secret service agents with automatic rifles rushed across the lawn north of the White House.

Few minutes later, Trump reappeared at the press conference, where journalists had been locked in, and revealed that someone had been shot outside the White House grounds.

He said law enforcement shot someone who seems to be, the suspect. And the suspect was on the way to the hospital.

Trump said he didn't know anything about the identity or motives of the person shot, but when asked if the person had been armed, he answered: “From what I understand, the answer is yes.”

       The Federal government of Nigeria has said that there's no time frame yet to reopen the schools in Nigeria, indicating that the school could only be reopened when it is safe to do so. FGN Agrees To Pay Owed Private Schools Teachers Salaries

      The Federal Government Of Nigeria -FGN- has agreed to pay the salaries of private school teachers whom are being owed by their school’s manag -ement since the lockdown began in March. This was contained in a statement signed by the President of the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools, NAPPS, Yomi Otubela. Otubela disclosed that the association forwarded a proposal to the Economic Sustainability Committee headed by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, for the government to pay the salaries of the private school teachers. He indicated that an approval has been granted to the proposal by the Federal Executive Council.                      The Federal Government of Nigeria -FGN - has presented the guidelines proposals for the reopening of schools across the nation to the National Assembly. The Minister of State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba made the presentation on Tuesday at a meeting with the Senate Committee on Basic and Secondary Education. He announced to the lawmakers the ministry’s plans for students to resume across the country.
