When trying to list effective means of preventing the spread of infectious diseases like Covid-19, hand washing appears to occupy  top position on the list.
However, if water and soap are not available, your next best option according to the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, is the use of an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
Note that hand sanitizer is less effective at killing certain kinds of germs,  like norovirus and Clostridium difficile and unlike soap and water, it cannot wash away harmful chemicals. 
 People may unknowingly wipe off hand sanitizer before it has dried, and some can be less effective due their  alcohol  too low concentrations.
This piece tries to  teach you how  you can make your own hand sanitizer at home with only 3 ingredients and it’s really quite simple!
These are the ingredients you need to gather before settling for preparation.
 Ingredients
-   ⅔ Cup 99% Rubbing Alcohol
                      
 -  ⅓ Cup of Aloe Vera Gel
                   
                   
  -  Any of these essential Oils Of Your Choice :the best essential oils for hand sanitizer are Cinnamon, Tea Tree, Oregano, Rosemary
                   
 
    How to do it 
. Gather your ingredients and get a small bowl.
.    Mix the rubbing alcohol and aloe vera gel together until they're well blended
.    Add in just a few drops of essential oil of your choice.
               
  
     Important to know
 It is very important to use a rubbing alcohol which is 99% alcohol. For it to be effective, hand sanitizer must be at least 60% alcohol. Remember that when you add aloe vera, you reduce the alcohol content by 33%. This recipe creates a hand sanitizer that is about 65% alcohol.

Ogun State To Reopen Schools Sept 21,To Adopt Staggered Timetables

          The Ogun State Government has announced Monday, September 21, 2020, the date for reopening of schools in the state for the first term of 2020/2021 session. The government, however, staggered the resumption and closing times for primary and secondary schools, while colleges and tertiary institutions keep full normal hours. The government said this on Monday in a press release by the Chief Press Secretary to the state Governor, Kunle Somorin. The government indicated that early child care development and education classes from three to five years of age are not  resuming yet in public schools until the next phase of school reopening. Schools Reopening:Lagos State Approves 20/21 Academic Calendar

    The Lagos State Ministry of Education has released school calendar for 2020/2021 session. Olaniran Emmanuel, Head of Public Affairs, Office of Education Quality Assurance (OEQA) issued the details in a statement at the weekend. Public and private schools below tertiary level will commence First Term academic activities on Monday, 21st September, 2020 while the term runs through Friday 18th December, 2020. The Second Term begins on Monday 4th January, 2020 and runs through Friday 6th April, 2021 while students will resume for Third Term on Tuesday 4th May, 2021 and close on Friday 6th August, 2021.       The Ogun  state government,Nigeria, has announced that all students had been given automatic promotion to the next class, including automatic enrollment for primary 6 students in public primary schools into JSS1 of public secondary schools.  New students who are resuming for the first time after the nationwide closure in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will join students in SS3 who are now writing the West African School Certificate Examination. The students will be joining in their new classes for the first term of 2020/2021 academic session.
