Now more than ever, people are worried about the coronavirus living on surfaces they're regularly in touch with, from their various packages to their clothes and shoes. As a matter of facts, studies have shown that RNA of the novel corona virus could be able to survive on some surfaces for up to and maybe even more than nine days,and that includes your beloved phone (though there's not enough evidence yet to confirm whether the virus can infect you after that long). The best way to clean your phone is to use disinfectant wipes with 70% isopropyl alcohol

Do not clean waterproof phones under a tap with flowing water.

Instead, use a wet cloth to wipe the phone, then wipe with a dry cloth. However, ensure thorough drying of all parts and speakers.

Use microfiber cloths to remove the fingerprints. Since you use your phone every day, smudges and fingerprints on the screen are unavoidable. They are caused by the oils in your skin and that’s why the most effective way is to make use of a microfiber cloth.

You can also moisten the cloth with distilled water to get rid of stubborn stains, but do not pour water directly on the screen.

Use masking tape to clean the sand, fluffy fabrics and dust that spreads on the ports and crevices of your phone.

It is ideal to use duct tape to remove any dust. To do this, it's quite simple. Stick the adhesive tape on the ports and the speakers and roll gently so that the dust and sand adhere;and now, you can have your phone  disinfected and clean.
