Breaking News:FGN Announces August,17 As Commencement Date of WASSCE

The Federal Government Of Nigeria on Monday ordered all schools in the country to reopen for graduating pupils in Primary 6, JSS 3 and SSS 3 as from August,4.
It also announced that this year’s 2020 West African Senior School Certificate Examination,WASSCE would commence on August ,17.
This was contained in a statement published on Monday by the Director, Press and Public Relations, Federal Ministry of Education, Ben Goong.
In the statement titled, ‘Exit Classes To Reopen August 4th’, the ministry indicated that the agreed dates were part of the resolutions reached after a consultative meeting with the education commissioners of the 36 states of the federation and other stakeholders.

COVID-19:Sanwo-Olu Orders Reopen Of Schools September 14

    Babajide Sanwo-Olu, governor of Lagos, has ordered all tertiary institutions under the state government to reopen on September 14. The institutions were shut indefinitely in March in a move to curtail the spread of COVID-19. At a briefing on Saturday, the governor asked them to reopen. COVID-19:Churches Reopen In Ogun State In Excitement And Respect Of Protocols

     Christians in Ogun state, Sunday came together in their various churches for services after over four months closure of worship centres resulting from the outbreak of COVID-19. Churches in Abeokuta, the state capital, largely adhered to safety guidelines for  reopening congregational services. Governor Dapo Abiodun had on Friday ordered the reopening of worship centres under the condition that the guidelines for safety measures should be fully observed. The governor also directed that, the number of worshippers for a service should not be above 200, while services must not last more than one and a half hour.
