Zobo drink is also called hibiscus tea throughout the world and can be  used for medicinal purposes. They are obtained from a plant known as Roselle which is common in West Africa.
Even though most people in Nigeria prefer to consume Zobo drink with sugary taste, it is advisable to always reduce the level of sugar which is unhealthy or preferably to use honey instead.
Zobo (Zoborodo) is a common nigerian beverage prepared from dried Roselle plant flowers. The drink is also known as Roselle drink and called Sorrel drink in the Carribean.

COVID-19:Presidential Task Force Indicates Decline In Cases

Dr Sani Aliyu,Coordinator of Presidential Task Force (PTF),has said that positive cases of COVID-19 are going down gradually as the recent released figures evolve around 400. He stated this at the daily COVID-19 briefing of the PTF on Monday, August 10 in Abuja. Aliyu , however, warned that the decrease was not in a way a win. He stated that all the non-pharmaceutical guidelines must be followed to achieve complete success in the fight against COVID-19.          Ogun State Government is to refund money already paid by some parents for COVID-19 tests for their children. The government had earlier made it mandatory for each boarding pupil in private schools to pay N25,000 part payment for the test. Governor Dapo Abiodun, however, cancelled the test on Monday, after opposition and protests. The governor also apologized for the stress that this earlier decision caused affected parents and pupils. The Ogun government had stopped  COVID-19 test as a mandatory requirement for returning students in the exit class in Senior Secondary schools in the state. Gov.       The World Health Organization (WHO)  has stated conditions for prequalification approval of the Russian vaccine . According to the WHO, scientists need to tho roughly review and assess   the required safety and efficacy data  before taking any decision on the vaccine. This announcement was released by a WHO spokesman, Tarik Jasarevic, during the United Nations briefing in Geneva about clinical trials.                        Passengers travelling abroad through Nigeria’s airport terminals are required to be at the airport five hours before departure to undergo COVID-19 protocols, the Nigeria Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika, has announced. The Minister said this on Saturday at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos when he disclosed some of the measures introduced for the reopening of the country’s airports closed in March  due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Sanwo-Olu Approves Full Reopening Of Churches,Mosques

  The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has announced the full reopening of worship centres in the state. He made the announcement during a briefing in Lagos on Saturday. The governor indicated that mosques can hold their prayers five times daily while churches are also allowed to commence weekly services. The governor had on Friday, August 7 permitted mosques and churches to commence their Friday and Sunday services only.
