FGN Begins N75 Billion MSME's Survival Funds Registration

The President Buhari led Administration has opted to put money in the hands of Nigerian's through the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises, MSME's support Survival Fund which will be available for beneficiaries as from today.

Mr. Laolu Akande, the SSA to the V.P Osibanjo's on media and publicity announced on Monday that this will be implemented for a Sustained Economic plan.

He added that the survival Fund which is part of the Economic sustainable plan of the Government will be open for potential beneficiaries and they can get information on website.

COVID-19:Ogun Gov.To Refund Test Charges To Parents,Apologizes

         Ogun State Government is to refund money already paid by some parents for COVID-19 tests for their children. The government had earlier made it mandatory for each boarding pupil in private schools to pay N25,000 part payment for the test. Governor Dapo Abiodun, however, cancelled the test on Monday, after opposition and protests. The governor also apologized for the stress that this earlier decision caused affected parents and pupils. The Ogun government had stopped  COVID-19 test as a mandatory requirement for returning students in the exit class in Senior Secondary schools in the state. Gov.       The World Health Organization (WHO)  has stated conditions for prequalification approval of the Russian vaccine . According to the WHO, scientists need to tho roughly review and assess   the required safety and efficacy data  before taking any decision on the vaccine. COVID19:FGN releases guidelines for local and int'l travels as airports start reopening

                       Passengers travelling abroad through Nigeria’s airport terminals are required to be at the airport five hours before departure to undergo COVID-19 protocols, the Nigeria Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika, has announced. The Minister said this on Saturday at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos when he disclosed some of the measures introduced for the reopening of the country’s airports closed in March  due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Sanwo-Olu Approves Full Reopening Of Churches,Mosques

  The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has announced the full reopening of worship centres in the state. He made the announcement during a briefing in Lagos on Saturday. The governor indicated that mosques can hold their prayers five times daily while churches are also allowed to commence weekly services. The governor had on Friday, August 7 permitted mosques and churches to commence their Friday and Sunday services only. He, however, warned that the safety protocols released by the government must be strictly observed. HIV-AIDS:51,000 Deaths,48,000 Infections Recorded Within Six Months In Nigeria

  The National Agency for the Control of AIDS indicates an estimated 51,000 persons living with HIV/AIDS in Nigeria has died in the first two quarters of 2020. According to NACA,close to 1.8 million people also currently live with the infectious disease in Nigeria.
