FGN Begins N75 Billion MSME's Survival Funds Registration

The President Buhari led Administration has opted to put money in the hands of Nigerian's through the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises, MSME's support Survival Fund which will be available for beneficiaries as from today.

Mr. Laolu Akande, the SSA to the V.P Osibanjo's on media and publicity announced on Monday that this will be implemented for a Sustained Economic plan.

He added that the survival Fund which is part of the Economic sustainable plan of the Government will be open for potential beneficiaries and they can get information on website.

No Time Frame Yet For Schools Reopening ,Says FGN

       The Federal government of Nigeria has said that there's no time frame yet to reopen the schools in Nigeria, indicating that the school could only be reopened when it is safe to do so. This position was expressed by the state Minister of Education, Mr. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba during a live NTA interactive meeting held on Tuesday night, 10.30 pm. The programme was hosted by the popular NTA journalist, Omini Ode, and consists of the honourable minister of State Education, Director General of National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA), Commissioner of Education in Enugu, Pro. FGN Agrees To Pay Owed Private Schools Teachers Salaries

      The Federal Government Of Nigeria -FGN- has agreed to pay the salaries of private school teachers whom are being owed by their school’s manag -ement since the lockdown began in March. This was contained in a statement signed by the President of the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools, NAPPS, Yomi Otubela. Otubela disclosed that the association forwarded a proposal to the Economic Sustainability Committee headed by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, for the government to pay the salaries of the private school teachers. He indicated that an approval has been granted to the proposal by the Federal Executive Council.          The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control,(NCDC) has raised concern over 11 new symptoms of corona virus disease, known as COVID-19.  The NCDC in its latest revelation on the new symptoms of Corona virus, called on citizens to contact their state hotlines for advice if they experience any of the stated symptoms of COVID-19.                      The Federal Government of Nigeria -FGN - has presented the guidelines proposals for the reopening of schools across the nation to the National Assembly.
